Level 24 - Enchanted Woods

Video Walkthrough

Objective

Escape the poisoned dream forest by gathering magical ingredients, repairing paths and structures, helping forest creatures, assembling a fire scroll and enchanted staff, and preparing the balloons for your final flight out of the Enchanted Woods.

Step-by-Step Solution

  1. You begin in a small woodland cottage. Pick up the wooden handle near the window and read the rapid-growth potion recipe posted there.
  2. On the right table, collect a mug, dried spurge, and the rope tied nearby.
  3. On the left table, grab the rag. Move the jar on the shelf to reveal a butterfly and add it to your inventory.
  4. Use the wooden handle on the barrel to open its locking mechanism. Rotate the dials to the correct sequence (the exact numbers can vary between playthroughs), then fill the mug with water from the barrel.
  5. Pour the water into the mixing container at the window, add the dried spurge, and use the rag to wipe the glass so sunlight can reach the mixture.
  6. Collect the finished growth essence and apply it to the cottage entrance door—the vines recede and you can step outside into the forest.
  7. Head left toward the river. Pick up the net leaning against the tree on the right.
  8. Use the net to catch the fireflies hovering above the giant snail. Hang the rope on the tree branch to lower the glowing orb, place the fireflies inside, and carry the lit lantern with you.
  9. Explore the hollow tree interior and gather all ten crystal prisms hidden among rocks, roots, webs, and cave debris. You will need nearby tools such as sticks, saws, shovels, and bones to reach every shard.
  10. Return to the prism altar, place all ten crystals, and claim the octagonal stone that forms.
  11. Go back to the stone bridge at the river. Set the octagonal stone in place, then hunt down six stone slabs scattered around the bridge, snail area, and nearby house to finish rebuilding the crossing.
  12. Cross the restored bridge and speak with the fairy. She gives you the first fragment of a fire scroll.
  13. Find another fire-scroll fragment near the unicorn on the far side of the woods.
  14. Use the butterfly from your inventory on the forest mailbox and solve the pattern-matching puzzle (layouts differ per player) to earn a key.
  15. Pick up the first hedgehog beside the mailbox, then collect the crank near the river house entrance.
  16. Continue toward the witch's clearing. Grab an eye rune from the left tree and another fire-scroll fragment from the ground.
  17. Unlock the right table inside the river house with your mailbox key. Take the protective glove and yet another scroll fragment, then combine every fragment in inventory to create the complete fire scroll.
  18. Burn the fire scroll on the river house door to break the magical seal and enter.
  19. Inside the river house, collect the first book from the stairs and the second book beside the hedgehog lockbox. Pick up the second hedgehog from the flower pot on the floor.
  20. Place both hedgehogs on the wooden box and reconstruct the picture tiles until the forest scene is complete. Open the box to receive small scissors and a box of matches.
  21. Use the scissors to cut the fairy free from her bindings. She shares the shrinking-lollipop recipe. Scoop an empty pot and a mushroom figurine out of the water trough.
  22. Insert the mushroom figurine into the dresser lock, open the drawer, and collect the third book plus the snail-salad recipe. Grab the bottle of maple syrup from the table.
  23. Outside the river house, gather two morel mushrooms by the door, a chanterelle mushroom near the mailbox, and a yellow fluffshroom by the bridge.
  24. Wearing the glove, collect a firecone from the tree roots and a horned melon from the tree on the right.
  25. Follow the snail-salad recipe: add every foraged ingredient, attach the crank to the mixing bowl, and blend the salad into snail bait. Feed the bait to the giant snail so it moves aside.
  26. Back in the main cottage, shelve all three books in the correct order to spring open a drawer containing a garden trowel and an empty vial.
  27. Fill the vial with snail slime, then use the trowel in the river house to dig out the crystal-flower root from its planter.
  28. Draw fresh water from the cottage barrel and cook the shrinking lollipop according to the recipe on the left table.
  29. Eat the lollipop to shrink down, slip through the tiny garden gate, and take the squirrel figurine from the wooden post.
  30. Place the squirrel figurine on the cabinet lock inside the river house and solve the sliding-tile puzzle (solutions vary) to obtain a stag beetle.
  31. Use the stag beetle in the fairy-house area to clear the web blocking your path and collect the web material it leaves behind.
  32. Solve the colored-button sequence on the fairy house door (your pattern may differ from other players) and step inside.
  33. Pick up the rose figurine hidden under the green leaves, open the shell on the floor to get a pearl and a wooden butterfly, and keep the empty shell.
  34. Collect the knife from the right shelf. Place the wooden butterfly on the tree mural and guide a flower token to the marked blossom slot to earn a piece of noctalite.
  35. Use the rose figurine on the side door near the house entrance and complete the path-routing puzzle to retrieve a metal handle and a needle.
  36. Return to the river house and fit the handle onto the sealed metal door to begin the rope-collection challenge.
  37. Search the entire river-house interior for fourteen rope segments—check under rugs, inside bedding, behind curtains, in drawers, inside pumpkins, and behind breakable glass. Combine scissor halves, use the knife, fork, hammer, and glass shard as needed to reach each piece.
  38. Once all ropes are gathered, take the fishing net reward from the puzzle.
  39. Use the net at the river to pull up a sunken chest containing a disassembled staff and a hairpin. Combine the staff with the noctalite and pearl in your inventory.
  40. Carve a berylite gem from the rock formation near the fairy house and mount it on the staff to finish the magic wand.
  41. Confront the witch with the completed wand, then pick up the enchanted tack by the stone circle.
  42. Use the tack on the unicorn to reveal the color pattern needed for the balloon-house door puzzle. Solve that lock to enter the balloon clearing.
  43. Take twine from the basket and arrange the flower tiles using the order clue found back in the river house. Collect the second eye rune from the finished arrangement.
  44. At the central fence, attach the hairpin, then weave the web, needle, and twine together to create a walkable path to the middle treehouse.
  45. Collect the third eye rune and gather eight large leaves from signs, bridges, doorways, and interior windows to patch the damaged roof.
  46. Inside the main fairy house, grab the window lens and an empty jug. Fill the jug with nectar from the blue flowers outside, pour it into the barrel to make syrup, and feed the syrup to the beetle helper.
  47. Cover the roof holes with the leaves, then use the matchbox to collect magical pollen.
  48. Fit the lens onto the resin tree near the balloons, catch sap with the shell, and insert all three eye runes into the stone mechanism.
  49. Press the rune buttons in the sequence indicated by the altar (left, middle, and right buttons each have specific counts). Collect the rapier from the opened compartment.
  50. Seal the balloon tear with resin, dust the envelope with magic pollen to charge it, and cut the mooring rope with the rapier to launch the balloons and complete Level 24 - Enchanted Woods.

💡 Tips & Tricks

  • The cottage barrel dial puzzle and several tile puzzles use randomized solutions—look for visual feedback rather than copying a fixed number sequence.
  • Crystal prisms and stone slabs are easy to miss because they sit behind movable rocks, roots, and cobwebs; sweep each screen before leaving an area.
  • Fire-scroll fragments are scattered across the map—combine them only after you have every piece so you do not waste backtracking.
  • The snail-salad and shrinking-lollipop recipes both require foraged mushrooms and tree ingredients; collect everything outdoors before returning to the kitchen stations.
  • The fourteen-rope hunt is the longest checklist in the level—methodically open every drawer, pillow, pumpkin, and curtain in the river house.
  • Staff assembly happens in inventory: combine the rod, pearl, noctalite, and berylite before trying to use it on the witch.
  • Flower-order and colored-button puzzles pull clues from other rooms; revisit the river house and unicorn area if a lock seems random.
  • Keep the shell, lens, jug, and pollen items until the balloon ritual at the end—dismissing them early blocks the finale.

⚠️ Common Mistakes

  • Leaving the cottage before brewing the growth potion, which prevents access to the wider forest.
  • Crossing to the fairy without restoring the bridge, leaving key scroll fragments unreachable.
  • Forgetting to shrink with the lollipop before approaching the tiny garden gate.
  • Trying to open the metal river-house door before completing the rose-figurine side puzzle for the handle.
  • Stopping the rope search early—missing even one segment keeps the fishing-net reward locked.
  • Using incomplete staff pieces on the witch instead of fully assembling the wand with the berylite gem.
  • Skipping leaf collection and wondering why the roof repair or balloon charging step fails.
  • Solving the eye-rune button puzzle without referencing the unicorn clue, leading to repeated failed attempts.
