Level 4 - Floating Islands
Video Walkthrough
Objective
Escape from the floating islands by collecting items, solving puzzles, crafting tools, planting magical beans, baking bread according to a special recipe, and summoning the fire bird. This level introduces farming mechanics, baking puzzles, connection puzzles, and multi-island navigation in a floating world setting.
Step-by-Step Solution
- Start on the first floating island - examine the circle of rocks in the center to find and collect a hook and a knife
- Look at the swing seat - collect the handle from it
- Check the area in front of the tree on the left - collect brushwood (1 of 4)
- Examine the anvil on the right side - collect another brushwood (2 of 4) from on top of it
- View the grindstone on the right - zoom in to see wire at the back and a shackle just below it, collect both
- Return to the grindstone and attach the handle you collected to its side
- Use the knife on the grindstone to sharpen it
- Use the sharpened knife on the swing to cut and collect rope
- Combine the rope with the hook in your inventory to create a rope with hook
- Use the rope with hook on what appears to be a ladder (actually a bridge) to cross to the second island
- On the second island, collect brushwood (3 of 4) from on top of the cabinet on the left
- Collect another brushwood (4 of 4) from in front of the chest on the right
- Use your knife on the fabric hanging from the tower on the right to cut and collect it
- Click on the middle stone piece and look in the right corner to find and collect matches
- Examine the stove under the small tower with the fabric - collect the oven fork, oil, bucket, and one half of the mill from around and inside the stove
- Use the wire from your inventory to pick the lock on the chest on the right
- A mini-game appears - solve it by lowering boards with characters so the number of characters on the outside matches the hint (aim for 10 boxes and 10 flowers showing)
- After solving the puzzle, collect a box and dynamite from the opened chest
- Read the note nearby that mentions growing a bean vine and taming fire birds
- Return to the first island and combine the shackle with the bucket in your inventory
- Use the dynamite on the rock in the middle of the first island
- Use the matches to light the dynamite and blow up the rock, revealing water underneath
- Use the bucket on the water to collect a bucket full of water
- Click on the other half of the mill that appears in the water and collect it
- Use both halves of the mill on the box - this opens a new mini-game
- Solve the mill blades puzzle by arranging all mills so their blades match the corresponding color positions
- Position the pink blade on the left side first, then the dark blue one
- Click the cyan blade in the middle to bring it down to the correct position
- Complete the left side: position yellow, light green, and red blades in order
- Complete the right side: position orange, dark green, and purple blades in order
- Once solved, the box opens - collect the beans from the top left corner
- Click on the ladder to return to the second scene
- Look at the vines in the background and click to view them closer
- Plant the beans in the ground and use the bucket of water to water them
- A bean vine grows creating a path to another island - use your knife on the leaf to collect the bean tree leaf
- Click on the vine to cross to the third island
- On the third island, collect brushwood from the pathway on the right side of the screen
- Collect another brushwood from the barrel on the right of the skeleton
- At the back by the end of the pathway, click on the bags - collect the bag from the back of the bench on the left
- Use your knife on the red bag to open it - collect the crystal that falls out
- Collect the sprouted grain that falls to the ground when you cut the bag open
- Look at the bird nest on the back of the airship - use the oven fork to bring it closer
- Collect another crystal and eggs from the nest
- Click on the skeleton propped outside the airship to read the note in its hand about baking bread and summoning a fire bird
- Click on the skeleton's other arm to remove it, revealing a metal box
- Use the oil from your inventory on the screws of the metal box to open it
- A connection puzzle appears - solve it by connecting dots of the same color to each other (on cells with bridges you can draw two lines)
- After solving the puzzle, the box reveals a compartment with a key and a recipe page for bread
- Use your knife on the flowers in the middle to collect forget-me-nots (blue flowers)
- Return to the previous scene and use the key on the wardrobe on the left
- Collect the hammer and crystal from the opened wardrobe (this should be your third crystal)
- Return to the airship scene and use the hammer on the item behind the barrel
- Collect the nails and another piece of fabric that appear
- Use the fabric on the windmill in the back
- Click on the fabric again so it goes over the rotor blade
- Use the nails and hammer together to secure the fabric to the windmill
- Go back to the very first scene
- Add the sprouted grain to the mud in the front right side of the screen to plant them
- Use the hammer on the flap by the water to move it down, making the grain grow
- Place the bag on the floor and use the knife to cut the grown grain
- Collect the grain that falls into the bag - add the bag of grain to your inventory
- Return to the scene with the airship and use the bag of grain on the windmill to make flour
- Open the recipe page in your inventory and add the water, bean tree leaf, blue flowers (forget-me-nots), eggs, and flour to combine the baking ingredients
- Go back to the stove in the previous scene and add the combined ingredients to it
- Add the brushwood to the bottom of the stove
- Use the matches to light the stove, starting a baking mini-game
- Add the ingredients to the recipe in the correct order: water, bean tree leaf, blue flowers, eggs, and flour
- Once the bread is baked, collect it from the stove
- Click on the mechanism in front of the gate with wings
- Add all three crystals to the mechanism
- Set the values corresponding to the number of birds drawn on the islands everywhere: 2, 3, and 4
- Click on the middle bar underneath to activate the mechanism
- The doors open - place the bread on top of the contraption
- A fire bird appears as mentioned in the note - click on it to complete Level 4 - Floating Islands
💡 Tips & Tricks
- Keep track of all brushwood pieces - you'll need them for the stove
- The boards puzzle solution may vary, but always aim for 10 boxes and 10 flowers showing
- The mill blades puzzle solution is the same for everyone - follow the color order carefully
- The connection puzzle may have different variations, but always connect dots of the same color
- You need all three crystals before you can activate the mechanism - make sure you've collected them all
- The baking order is important: water, bean tree leaf, blue flowers, eggs, and flour
- The bird count puzzle uses the numbers 2, 3, and 4 based on birds drawn on the islands
- Don't forget to water the beans after planting them - they won't grow without water
- The windmill needs fabric and nails to work properly - make sure you've secured it
- Some items like crystals are hidden in unexpected places - check bags, nests, and wardrobes thoroughly
⚠️ Common Mistakes
- Not collecting all brushwood pieces before trying to light the stove
- Forgetting to sharpen the knife before using it on the swing
- Not solving the boards puzzle correctly - make sure you have 10 boxes and 10 flowers showing
- Missing the mill blades puzzle solution - follow the specific color order
- Not collecting all three crystals before trying to activate the mechanism
- Forgetting to water the beans after planting them
- Not following the correct baking order - the recipe must be followed exactly
- Missing the bird count clue - look for birds drawn on the islands
- Not securing the windmill fabric properly with nails and hammer
- Trying to activate the mechanism without setting the correct bird count values (2, 3, 4)
- Forgetting to collect the bean tree leaf after the vine grows
- Not using oil on the metal box screws before trying to open it
